"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8
About Vicki
Our mission is simple:
Gospel Fest was formed over 17 years ago with the sole purpose in mind of bridging the gap between generations, race, and religion along with providing a safe environment for all to come together and an making every effort to keep the Unity of the Spirit Through the Bond of Peace, as we experience the Lord’s words through musical arts from Grammy Award Winning Gospel Artist as well as local Artist. Gospel Fest provides a positive influence in a city that has had so much violence; it restores a sense of peace to the hopeless.
GOSPEL FEST MISSION AND GOALS
Gospel Fest’s mission also is to inform and educate the public on service organizations, such as: Can Council, Rescue Mission, Underground Railroad, etc. We believe that there are a lot of services that can help the public in their everyday lives but only if they are informed about them. In the growing process, Gospel Fest has developed a “Gospel Fest Music Arts Scholarship” through the Saginaw Community Foundation, to help a Saginaw County student pursue their dreams of achieving a college degree in musical arts. Gospel Fest has become a magnificent force in the community and in the past two years Gospel Fest has given away a car to a person in dire need. Both cars were awarded to people that had debilitating illnesses. Gospel Fest is more than just music, it’s about meeting the needs of people whether it is Spiritually, Mentally, or Physically.
